The Center has worked hard to achieve a balanced budget for the last two fiscal years. No simple task, this requires the diligence of the Center's staff, the oversight of the Board of Directors, and assistance from local individuals, foundations and corporations.
The board and staff are committed to keeping the Center's fees as affordable as possible: in fact, the Center is the lowest priced child care center in Chester County.
As a result, there is a $1,175 annual gap between the actual cost of caring for a child at the Center and the reimbursement we receive. At an average enrollment of 100 children, this creates a $117,500 annual shortfall.
How do we make ends meet? Contributions from the United Way of Chester County and other generous donors.
