Here at West Chester Area Day Care Center, we are committed to providing our students with enriching experiences, from field trips to Highland Orchards that dovetail with classroom units, visits from magicians and other special performances, Breakfast with Santa Claus, a monthly visit from our local library – a story hour and lots of story books available. Or just wearin' our jerseys on Game Day! Check it out and see what's happening at the Center. Christmas Crafts: West Chester students from WCAEYC Christmas Crafts projects. Breakfast with Santa: Every year our talented Board of Directors get together and throw a pancake breakfast to celebrate a visit from the Big Man in the Red Suit. Our Generous Donors: Our generous donors make it possible for us to keep tuition low and still provide a safe, rich educational environment. Good Nutrition Project: All year, we emphasize healthy eating. Our donors support our efforts to provide fresh fruits and vegetables all year round. Classroom Libraries Project: Putting the FUN into "Reading is fundamental!" We make sure all our classrooms have a variety of books for daily reading. United Way Money Smarts: The United Way helps us help our families ramp up their financial IQ. Graduation Day: Always a big day for our kindergarteners - how'd they get so big so fast! School Fair: Every summer we celebrate our school with a family event full of activities, fun, and prizes. Highland Orchards Field Trip: Our older students capped off a unit all about apples with a trip to a local orchard. We took a hayride and pressed our own cider! Halloween Parade: Get your costume on!
